when we refuse to compare ourself to cars of other makes we're really denying ourselves of becoming truely gr8..this car is good for our standards but doesn't match up elsewhere.. my parents were among the earliest to buy one.. the welding of the engine compartment was shoddy..like how a 6yr old spills superglue on his toy car..the seats are so soft it'll kill your spine in a long journey.. the vibration conducts so well through the pedals, gear and steering wheel too..soon it'll start rattling

lol.. its ur attitude who talks crap and do nothing to support the industry that causing this. Proton is not a failure! the problem is u guys buy a proton and race it like hell.. never know how to take care of the car.. buy a Honda, use cheap spare parts u buy from kedai aH Kong, use low grade oils and race it if u dare.. see if it can last long enough..

i don't agree with u saviola020.....please admit and face our weakness...stop giving excuse on Proton is new baby, cannot compare this and that....if the attitude continue like this way, we forever left behind !!!

there's a difference in just making excuses and admitting our capabilities for the time being,proton is progressing which shows their R&D had payed off..we could take the easy route of just copying other makers such as what we did with mitsu but we didn't,our own chasis,our own engine even our own vtec type, the CPS,its a step by step process..if we the malaysian won't even support our own,who else?

making car is not easy m8. dont compare us with toyota, honda, n other top brand car. They have been in the market for almost a century. Proton are actually "making" their really own car since the past 8 years. why? they dont hv the technology n money mate. N considered the archievement, it is fantastic. Hv you ever see Nano Tata from india? it's a piece of junk. But yet, they support n buy it. Y? easy, they proud of their car. You should be ashamed by yourself.

It's funny how your words differ from ur action, u said proton sucks, yet u booked the car before it was even launched?(probably u got loads off money to buy any car) with the production limit to 5000+ per month and the bookings that had gone up to 25000+ its only logic the wait will be long
