Before he left, though, you could see it already starting to come out then. So maybe its just what happens when you find out your best friend has super human powers.

i dont like petes behavior he seems mad with clark for hiding his secret and way too opened to the world with his powers and everything i dont know i just think that even as much as i liked pete the 3 first seasons id rather him not to come back... especially if in this epi they are going to ruin his character hope they dont we will have to watch

No, pete is not a thief, he is one of chloe and clarkes friends from high school, he was the first friend who found out about clark secret, because clarke told him. Clarkes red cape I think is only going to be, maybe at the end of season 8. Who knows.....

what about lois and clark?
