Firstly it isn't an Egyptian symbol, its a Ghanaian Adinkra symbol, and it means Except For God. Basically its saying nobody has seen the beginning of life and nobody will see the end, except for god. It is a religious symbol showing the supremacy and omnipotence of god. It can be seen in a lot of ghanaian culture. I know this cos im half ghanaian. Hope that helps.
