man i cant see anything i cant get passed intermidiat.

Yeah, I apologize for the quality. It looked alot better on the camera when I recorded it. I tried running it through a program to lighten everything up a little bit so you could see better, but it didn't help :(

I would just stand still right in front of them because strafing might hinder your conentration on the precise moment to hit attack. It seems you press attack too late. It should be pressed during the most vulnerable time of the enemy's attack action; timing is actually not at the same time it lands on you; it's a couple of moments before it that shows the enemy slightly staggering while still having their weapons raised. The training can be done in 2 minutes.

Strafing has always been easiest for me, plus, its safer because alot of the time, if you miss time your hit, you can dodge their weapons. i use to be able to finish the whole critical training in about 4 minutes, but a couple enemies held me up much longer than normal. Anyway, thanks for the advice and comments.

Makaveli, I've played Demon Siege and Dawn of Dreams inside out. I'm one of very few players that actually invested a lot of time in mastering the true issen. I'm happy there're still people like you who care about this deadly secret technique. Just take my advice. Stand still, don't spend time attacking the last moment while strafing because success rate is low. Attack just before their last action coming down on you, not just before it hits you. Hope to see you around

Hi, Makaveli187420, it's good to see fellow Onimusha enthusiasts posting videos of their gameplay because we could learn from each other. I traded in the game for RE Essentials. So I don't have the game right now, but I still remember how I played this training.

u kno u can always block before the attack and then attack

For this particular training mode, you can't block first. This one, you have to just swing before it hits.

when the sword connects with you press square. This is the hardest issen. The easiest issen is to press guard when you see then enemy atk, but this kind of issen doesn't work on heavy type enemies T^T...best to keep restarting and noobing around in honnoji in issen mode...great way 2improve =]
