Because Bush is close to institutional and state power, the Dems won't do anything. I'm serious. Bush could nuke Iran tonight, and the Dems won't say anything. Institutions and state power are have more power than our elected representatives. However, democracy can change how the state and institutions behave. So we've got to be ready to fight-- don't just elect Democrats, be ready to fight for change.
