Do you have any advice as to how i can persuade my mom to let me get a ball python? lol. ive wanted one for years and ive liked snakes for ever but she doesnt want me to have any pets. and even more so anything thats cool like reptiles or snakes. Im 16 and i can afford all of the food and supplies needed by myself.
How do I know if my new snake is happy?
Not really an easy answer for that one. I guess just pay attention to how easily it takes food and lets you handle it as these are two ways you can kinda tell how satisfied your snake is.
When shopping at the pet store, how do you know that a snake is right for you?
You should know what is right for you BEFORE you get to the pet store. Do plenty of research right online about a variety of snakes that interest you. Choose the best candidate keeping temperament, size, and food all in mind in the decision.
Alright, thank you, but how can you check it's temperament? Would it hiss or roll up if it didn't like you?
I buy mine online so I only have a picture to go on usually. When I talk about it's temperament I mean as a species, not a single specimen.
ah, see, I have much to learn about snakes :P
Good video. Thanks for the info. Thinking about getting a snake, your videos have been helpful.
