Dash 8-400 (Bombardier Q400) Takeoff and Landing

Nice! I worked on the avionics (FMS installation) of N425QX when the company I was working for was also repainting it with the 25th anniversary paint scheme. The Q400 is a beautiful aircraft for sure.

I once took a flight with Porter - Ottawa to Toronto. There was so much turbulence - for a full hour - I was so sick as a dog. Then they tried landing the plane twice at City Centre and couldn't because of fog. So we ended up at Pearson anyway - I got to my destination way too late. I will never fly these small turbos again especially with such a short runway.

aaaah, yes. of course only tubroprops encounter turbulence! i forgot that!!!

This guy is the epitome of the ignorance of the flying public. 1) the Q400 is large than most regional jets, 2) turbulence effects every plane whether it's a 747 or a Dash 8, and 3) these can shoot an intrument landing the same as a jet. "I will never fly these small turbos again especially with such a short runway." Are you serious?? Not only is the Dash 8 designed for short runways, props in general are much better on short runways than jets. Plus, Q400's are all brand new. Idiot...

I am flying on this Flybe Q400 in 4 days. I am gonna get Seat 7D xD I love that seat. I've got some landing vids of my earlier flights that i've uploaded but i'll upload new ones in a month when i am back.
