LOL... technically yes. However - the show was originally intended to feature only Robert Vaughn as the main star... and the character of Illya would be secondary - and recurring. But, when Illya became so popular... I imagine that factored into the title making process.

I have man From UNCLE lighters, cigarette cases, comm devices, machine guns from 1966-1968, all with hidden deployments. I was amazed. Retractible machine gun, a lighter gun. These were realistic. Anyone else have any?

those machine guns were cool looking. too bad i only an infant when the original run came out.
