the blue thing on the top is a sticker take it off or it will make the top of your phone sticky.

Unlocked= you can use any gsm network with this phone. Just put a sim card in it AT&T,T-Mobile, Cingular, Rogers, ect. The phone will instantly fire up and be ready to place calls. Typically cell phones are LOCKED to one specific carrier and you have to sign a two year contract. Example: IPHONE = AT&T ONLY.
