I am not affiliated with the Ridge Runners or Gorgas Park, but enjoyed the sites, sounds and food with my family and neighbors... Great thanks to all involved... As listed in some local newspapers... Rocking rides Is it the hot car or the vision of the person who built it that matters most? The answer can be found Saturday at Roxborough's Rockin' the Ridge Car Show. The show will be 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. in Gorgas Park (Fountain to Hermitage Streets), rain or shine. Kids can enjoy arts and crafts; adults can swap drive-in car memories, and families can check out hot wheels. Sponsored by the Roxborough Ridge Runners vintage car club and Friends of Gorgas Park, prizes will be awarded to the top 50 cars, custom cruisers and metric motorcycles. New this year is the judging of custom motorcycles. Information: 215-483-1006. I'm sorry to say you did miss it... They had a part of Ridge closed at Gorgas Park... a mess for traffic, but i live right there so no trouble for me.. ;) Thanks for the visit
