Soul Reaver Legacy of Kain Defiance

Well yeah, but it's Kain who really had a choice, Kain who destroyed pilars, killed... well too many to say by name :) However strange that Raziel usually won duels with Kain in games, strange. Raziel is too "good" for me, y know... just that thing with sparing Janos in Defiance so Hylden survived and all. Kain would do what he must do. I personally love Blood Omen 2, my fav game from series. Difference betwen Kain from BO 2 and Defiance is strange. Kain did mutate somehow i guess. Evolution :)

Yep,and physically as well.The guy just walks around in plain pants,yet he is one of the most powerful beings on Nosgoth.Kain is the only one to master death and time in the series....other then Moebius,who just gets plain bullied and owned by Kain.

To tell you the truth, after I played with Kain in Defiance I fell in love with the character. And I almost hated Raziel for the way he acted, especially after he riped The Heart of Darkness from Kain's chest. But the ending was very touching :) Personally, I prefer the physical aspect of Kain from Defiance to the one from Blood Omen.

I dont get it why most people like Raziel more than Kain... Maybe becouse they played Soul Rever's first and Blood Omen series later, dunno. I remember playing as Kain in late 90's in Blood Omen later i fought Sarafan as Kain in Blood Omen 2... Just remember = Kain is main character in Legacy of Kain series, not Raziel. And in the end Kain is the one who kills Raziel and kick's that dude "wheel of fate bla bla bla" ass ;)

Actually Kain doesn't kill Raziel. As Raziel himself says, he is Kain's right hand and only together they can destroy the real evil, therefore they become one. The real battle isn't between them, but against "the giant squid". At the end you can even see a feeling of sorrow in Kain's eyes concerning Raziel. In conclusion, the evil is not defeated by Kain alone, but by both of them, united as one. Personally, I like both Kain and Raziel and I truly wish for a sequel.

Raziel and Kain are both the main characters and without one,the other would not be able to follow their respective fates.Everyone likes Raziel more because,he has basically suffered a hell lot of pain.

This video makes me want to try the series out.I played Soul Reaver 2 years ago and probably didn't understand it.But,after looking through most of the cutscenes,it seems these guys know how to describe and narrate exceptionally well.
