Nobody in the greyhound racing industry ever tried to kill a family of four by fire bombing their house in the wee hours of the morning. Unfortunately, I cannot say the same thing about the animal rights movement (Santa Cruz, CA, August 3 2008) Animal rights is cruelty to humans.

Thx for the video, great dogs and actually I think they are only happy when they run. Just one question: how do I keep my Greyhound from chasing every living and moving thing whenever I go ride my bycicle and he is (or rather should be) running by my side? Thx for help.

I'm an adopter and a bit surprised by the vehement objection some have to the sport. I imagine it stems from the history of euthenizations. I find it especially odd given the fact that if there was no racing, there'd be no beautiful greys to share our lives. As long as there is sufficient oversight and regulation, there is nothing inherently cruel about the sport, and I imagine they enjoy their careers far more than the cow who provided my dinner tonight.

I can quote anything I want, you terrorist. Animal rights crimes are no secret, they're public record. Why don't you use your military skills to good use....there are some openings in the animal/eco-terrorist movement. Two people were recently sentenced to prison, one for five years, and the other for six years, in their role in an arson fire at the University Of Washington. You deserve a promotion from handing out pictures of bloody chickens to first-grade children.
