Ahh wispering death! a beautiful aircraft.

You'd probably know that Bristol was also a postwar car maker as well, and marketed a CAR under the Bristol Beaufighter name, utilizing a Chrysler V8 - they were unusual though, being built in limited numbers, boxy styling, and having unusually long bonnets with the spare wheel mounted behind the front wheels.

The beaufighter was 'suppose' to be a heavy fighter. But the Britains torpedo planes were becoming obsolete and the beaufighter had the fire power and had room for a torpedo but the extra made it fulnerable!
