Jeff Beal received an Emmy award for the theme song for the TV series 'Monk'. And also scored "Ugly Betty", "Carnivale", and "Rome". Appaloosa is directed by the amazing Ed Harris and starring Ed Harris, Viggo Mortensen, Jeremy Irons, Renee Zellweger, and Robert Jauregui. Ed Harris also directed and starred in 2000's Pollock. Jeff Beal also scored that one. His score for "Pollock" has been used in trailers for several feature films including "The Terminal", "Intolerable Cruelty" and "Mona Lisa Smile". Ed Harris also sings in this soundtrack, Track 24 and 25 (little background vocal). He also wrote track 24, You'll Never Leave My Heart.
