This video displays part of a video shot on September 2, 2007 from INSIDE a Mitchell B-25 bomber. The main part was shot from the tail gunner seat. A very shaky ride! The flight was from EHLE to Eindhoven airport. The Mitchell is owned by The Duke of Brabant Air Force. The Duke of Brabant Air Force is based in Eindhoven, The Netherlands. The foundation operates warbirds at airshows throughout Europe. The flagship of our fleet is a B-25 Mitchell bomber that was built in 1944.The DBAF's 1944 built Mitchell was found in Baton Rouge, LA (USA) in a rather neglected state. The registration N320SQ was arranged to honour the former RAF (Dutch) 320 Squadron, operating Mitchells in the European theatre of war. Since May 1990 the aircraft is operated from Eindhoven, where she was restored to an excellent condition. The active military period of the bomber was from 1944 up to 1958 with USAAF Administrative Units as transport and support aircraft of the Air University Wing. Several civil owners operated the aircraft since 1959.
