During fall months, coastal rivers in the Pacific Northwest are visited by five different pacific salmon species. Fresh coho salmon will readily attack a large artificial lure.
This video takes a look at a couple of coho salmon that were caught and released (unintentionally and intentionally) in October 2006.

Ooooh nice one! That was big. This Fall I'm going Salmon fishing too, hopefully will catch us a good meal and get a break from small, bony fish from Pitt River near Fraser river. I don't know if it's a Pikeminnow or a Mountain Whitefish.
Beautiful stile, where is this, mr great fisher?
