Instead they wanted to send it to a repair shop and have it rebuilt. This was not an option for me, as my previous Dodge truck had a manual transmission that failed and I had it rebuilt. They used poor quality parts and the transmission had to be rebuilt again in less than 10,000 miles. My point about the rusted doors (see other video) is that an '01 truck should not have rusted out doors by 2006. (I've seen many of these trucks with rusted doors). Now the rear bumper is rusting out. To add to the list of woes, The AC core in the dashboard died, the power window died, I'm on my third trackbar, and the cheesy brakelines that go from the front of the truck to the back rusted out, and I had to remove the gas tank to replace them. Before replacing the gas tank, the fuel gauge was intermittent. Two months after buying the truck, the check engine light came on, due to and evaporative system problem. Maybe all this is due to hard service this truck gets, driving back and forth to work on the highway everyday only. All I can tell you now is the truck has 105,000 miles on it, and the transmission works flawlessly. P.S. If you think this truck has been abused, we can send you the pictures. Tell that to all the Chryslers that Diamler German enginered. Chrysler was doing fine before diamler came in and fucked it all up. They had HORRIBLE transmission and electrical problems, and all of it done under the name of german engineering. Now that Diamler is gone chrysler is actually starting to produce vehicles that are worth a damn again.

we have had nothing but problem after problem with our chrysler. It just got paid of and it needs another 2000 dollars of work we found out. GOod thing we didnt dole out the bucks as it died today. I would NEVER buy one of their products again.
