There *is* a new commercial w/Segata Sanshiro promoting the new Rambo game in Japan. So it proves he didn't die. n.n He just came back after many years in space.

He came crashing into the earth after the explosion, and he became RAMBO!

Segata can't die ;), like Invader Zim's Santa, he lives on... IN SPACE! Gathering strength until every Christmas he beats up people who didnt play enough SEGA back when they still made consoles. That is why Chuck Noriss hides around Christmass. He knows Segata will own him big time!
