Infiniti vs. Badge

So... is Infiniti NOT a badge? Infinitis are just Nissans that want to be BMWs in the same way Lexus are just Toyotas that want to be Mercedes. Infiniti is a badge just like Merc, Bimmer, Audi and the rest, only difference though is the Germans have earned their right because they are the REAL thing.

How cheeky that Infiniti would come out with such a lame commercial. Thats just asking to get an ass whooping by the big three = BMW, Mercedes Lexus!

Infiniti is not a company - its a badge on a Nissan, same as Lexus is a Toyota - LEXUS=LuxuryEXportUS - and the engine awards for Nissan always come from one company, Ward's (?) - Reverse engineering is cheap and leaves alot of $ for commercials

Infiniti Vs. Badge.... What about performance vs. overprice REBADGE?! BMW= A real sport. Infiniti= Just another Nissan. Not argument there. Want a performance Japanese car that will put to shame the Germans and the other Japanese rebadge? get a Lexus LS460.

I'm sick of my G35 coupe. The interior rattles, tranny is heavy, electronics fry and the VQ sucks up oil. I wish I bought a BMW. 335i G37 even if the 335i has heating problems. The manufacture will take care of it. Nissan corprate can KMA for rejecting a HU defect because I only had 5 days left on my warranty. If its something as minor as a stereo, guess how hard it is to make them realize the VQ motor and tranny has defects.

Sorry, but nissan did not invent any of those. There has been other cars with all wheel steering. Even an older generation celica had AWD steering. Nissan uses and outside vendor for the birds eye view navigation. The same navigation can be found in other makes as well.

You really believe people think you have status in an infiniti over a Mercedes? hah, yea sure, i see celebrities driving infiniti's all the time *sarcasm!!!

I dont see the celebs driving a 3 series either.

I know that GM/Ford had a concept for the first airbag, Mercedes made it a success years later. But which inventions had bmw made exactly?
