I have six ferrets as well and they are always SO playful and energetic, all over the place. They're like my fuzzy children :) Gotta love them

I have six ferrets as well and they are SO much fun, always playful and all over the place... they are a handful, but they're like my children :)

But like I said, crappy food, not keeping litter box clean, & beddign clean makes a huge difference. I would not descent my private breds unless medically necessary.
|
I know they "poof" when not descented, & yes it stinks, half of mine are private bred, not descented. What I meant is, some people think that when a ferret is descented, it takes away the musky odor. It only prevents them from poofing. I never said they can still poof when descented.
When I said there is no differnce in smell, I mean you can pick up a decented one of mine, & a non descented one & neither one smells worse.
Maybe I didn't word it right, you misunderstood what I was saying.

Sorry, but you're wrong. There's a HUGE difference between a descented ferret and one that hasn't been. When they descent the ferret they remove the musk glands so they CAN'T poof. And if you say they can well why in ten years of ferret ownership have I never smelled it nor have any of the 100's of ferret owners on my forum smelled it? What makes a ferret smell is a lazy owner who doesn't clean their litter boxes and/or never washes their bedding.

they love the tunnel don't they?

That was great. Gotta love those little guys. I have six of my own: Tank, Roxy, Keeley, Nina, Simone and Baxter. Check out my weasel Slideshow!

They are so adorable! I wish that my dog got along with my ferret. Before I let my ferret out I always have to make sure my dog is outside.
