Like most of the others who posted messages here, I was also quite sad to this footage. Laurel and Hardy will forever live in the hearts of all their fans.
By the way, was that Stan's daughter playing with that dog?

Yeah theres a video on you tube of don wilson and some other guy doing an impression of laurel and hardy on the jack benny show. It's ok not that funny but I don't think laurel and hardy wouldn't of find it funny. Laurel and Hardy were more funnier than them. Check it out if you want to see it but I was looking for it again but it doesn't seem to be there but I don't know yeah don't half to watch it.

It's very sad to look at but good to see them one last time. It's like there just saying goodbye and hoped that everyone who have known them and watched them have got the most laughing out of them for over thirty years. But there films and comedy routines still live on forever. New people who will hear about them will be giving there selves a treat and learn and know that Laurel Hardy were the funniest double act guys of all time.

The sad thing is, Oliver Hardy lost so much weight so fast that he died as a result of the complications from it. RIP, Stan and Hardy.
|
What did he die from??
|
Cerebral thrombosis. His weight loss was dramatic in 1956... he went from being 300+ lbs to just 150 lbs in a few weeks, this weakened his constitution to the point that he suffered a major stroke (he was unable to speak after that) and he died a few months later.

love these guys, i watch their movies every day.

From silent to sound their work will live on forever. From Two Tars, The Music Box, I could go on and on with their great film history but would run out of space. They were the greatest comedy team ever. Thank you Hal Roach for bringing them to life for all of the generations to come and enjoy them.

Legends is the only word I can think of to describe these guys. There will never be a comedy duo like them ever again. It is very sad to see this video, but their memories will live on forever.

Brought a tear to my eye i miss these guys ..
