you do not have to make your own salt moste pet stores have pre mixed salt water an the sand you can get any where FYI sand is high matenats best to eather not use anything or get crushed coral in small size like sand

Where do you get sand like that? i looked at both petco and petsmart and neither of them had thin grainy sand. All the had were like small rocks that they called sand. Help!!

to make the water salty.. you cant just put in salt in petco they recommend you buying a saltwater kit and it'll tell you everyting you need to know!
