dogs in korea

this is soooo sad.. im korean and ive been to korea myself.. its just heartbreaking. fortunately there are many koreans who are fighting for animal rights in s. korea. as many elderly koreans are being replaced by the young generation who do not enjoy dog meat its going to be a slow process but fortunately it wont be a never ending tragedy.

Koreans are not civilized?! I live in Korea, and they have a way better culture than we do in America. The vast majority are hard working people. Have you seen what happens when a Korean family sets up shop in America? Boom! Next thing you know they own the whole block. They're peaceful as fuck; you hear about a major crime involving South Koreans once a blue moon. There's too many examples I can give you about Korean civility over Americans'. You obviously wrote that comment with no proof.

I live in Korea and serve in the Army. While I don't personally think I would ever bring myself to eating a dog, it's just as much as an animal as a chicken, cow, deer, or pig. In fact, a pig has a high level of intelligence, and a lot of us eat bacon every morning. Just because we as Americans (or wherever you're from) consider dogs as pets doesn't mean another country can't eat them. If you think I'm wrong, go to India and ask for an all beef cheeseburger.

Pigs are smarter than dogs. Check it out if you don't believe me. And for the record, pigs are reared in intensive piggeries and cannibalise one another from spending their whole life in a tiny space before they are "humanely" killed. Look up Smithfield Pork on the internet, the way the workers treat their pigs is disgusting and horrific. And they are the largest pork producer in America right now with approx 200 million pigs slaughtered there every year. That might change your mind about pigs.
