Gail's badminton talent first emerged at the age of four. During her career she has achieved a number of national and international titles including three times Ladies Champion, twice Women's Doubles Champion, 1998 Commonwealth Champion and 2006 Mixed Doubles Commonwealth Champion, 2002 Malaysian Open Champion and BMW Open Champion.
Blonde and bubbly Gail Emms certainly made an impression in Athens in 2004. Together, with doubles partner Nathan Robertson, the duo captivated an hysterical crowd of supporters with a nail-biting final and won silver in the mixed doubles. Gail is determined to top her achievement in Athens and win gold in Beijing in 2008.
