this was one of the pitfalls of this movie... they attempted to show drama between the crew... what really happens is that the crew for such a tedious mission is choosen such that there is no sexual, emotional or physical tension between the crew members. infact, the life of an astronaut is dull and routine, and not spontaneous such as this clip. somehowever hollywood is petrified of displaying this bit of reality fearing rejection, whereas a precedent has already been established: 2001...
