I think Jazmine sings it much better, but the only thing that I don't like about this song is it's use of one of my favorite Curtis Mayfield riffs from the "Superfly" album called "Think". People won't think of Curtis Mayfield when they hear this now, unless they already knew! (My take... who cares?)

I love me some Jazmine but when Beyonce sang it I felt her pain and anguish more it was like she sang it from her heart and was fighting back tears! so BEY wins hands down! and we would not have ever known of this song if it wasnt for BEYONCE! she made it famous and worldwide not VICKY OR JAZZZY! BEY sang the hell outta this... but props to VICKY for writing it!

people should stop comparing her to Beyonce and even jazmine Sullivan b/c out of al of them, she is the most likely to have experienced this first hand. Jazmine just turned 21 [even though she looks waaay older] and Beyonce is still in her "honey moon stage" in her marriage. they know nothing of the pain this may have caused. to them, they are just covering a song they liked. to Victoria, she has lived it so b/c of that, she did the best job of this song b/c this is her life. her voice is nice!

beyonce's way of singing is better much better this song isn't her not saying she isn't a good singer

Uhm..this version is definitely A MESS!!! I didn't even know that she was the 'originator'..and now that I know, i can't believe it..She DEFINITELY sounds like a spice girl, kndygrl! LoL...her voice is so simple, and plain. and after hearing the other versions, this song needs to have soul, and character..it sounds like shes reading the lyrics right off the paper...damn victoria...a mess =[

gotta give it to the originator right? i mean, the girl wasnt horrible. Beyonce and JSullivan are covers, so it is only fair to give Vicky the credit for being numero uno. But the covers were better versions.
