Description :	This is a clip where you can see my house in both clients, sadly I couldn't get fraps working with the 2D client so screenshots was the best I could do. I've been playing for about 5 years now, so in my opinion both clients have flaws that rub you the wrong way. The 2D client has a lot of new items added to the game that doesn't fit in with the rest of the graphics, the new UOKR client has a lot of graphic glitches and for example a dyetub or banner has one solid colour instead of just the dye or banner being coloured. These are just examples, they are both very beautiful and serve their purpose well. UO is still a great game with a lot of history... but like every other game it has it's flaws... sadly it has too many which is what the problem is. I wish I could go back to UO but I just can't get back all the things I lost, this video is the last pictures of my house. It was known as the Umbra University and played a part in many Role-Playing events on Europa. I hope people will remember it for what it was and honor the effort our Umbrian citizens and allies put into it. Rest in Peace... Umbra [Umb].

since it is based on skills, not experience, levels, and whatnot, everyone is pretty much on equal ground. the free shards are the best, especially hybrid and demise. worth playing, definitely.

UO music is by far the best MMO music out there.

Unfortunately this isn't music from Ultima Online lol. This is music from Ultima Ascension...

and like Galdhon said, play on the free shards to try it out. They are completely legal, if you like complex worlds with houses and player cities there are other games out there. UO does have a certain touch which most games lack but you'd prolly find more players to interact with on other online games.

aye sadly most online games are just hack and slash, UO is different in that way that it has several things you can do on and focus on instead of just fighting. It has a vague storyline, it involves the crystal that Mondain had to obtain power over the realm. the Avatar shattered the gem and basically the whole world you interact in is bound to these gems, like the main stories. Each world had their own background story, there is GM story arcs going on in the game and you can of course Role-play

I want to play this game,Because to me Mmos are about giving players control and freedom to form their own worlds and communtys,modern mmos have gone in a diffrent direction,i just want to know where how much the subsciption is,and where i can get my hands on a client,thanks

Well, if you have a doubt, play first some UO free shards, and then, if you like it, you can buy the game, but IMHO, EA made UO jump into the abyss when they added 3D graphics, it just doesn't make for it. The 2D graphics were awesome, and any 2D UO player can say that.
