Mals 12, i totally agree with you....she is much more joss stone...she still is a brilliant singer...i just cant see why people are camparing her voice with other singers like leona and mariah whos voices are usually quite delicate.

exactly!..why is everyone saying she sounds like Leona/Mariah?..are you guys tone deaf???...She's got a much harder/rock edge than Mariah/Leona and is totally different in my opinion. She sounds more like Joss Stone in my opinion.

its unfortunate that when an artist is successful in the music indusrty its copied 10x over ie; mariah carey/leona lewis, i knew it would be a matter of time before the leona/mariah wanna-bes would be hitting the internet, the same thing happened in the mid 80s with madonna, every dance/pop release had a madonna reference either vocally or musically, it was quite irriating, now its mariahs turn.

Although some people may say she "SUCKS!" and that she's a "disgusting cross between...Cher...and...Alanis...", it beats singing washed up versions of "Summer Lovin'" at local karaoke bars. Getting exposure on ET Canada vs. a local karaoke bar? You tell me which "SUCKS"?

Exactly. My friends think she's horrible but then again they're the one's who think that Hannah Montana is a singing sensation. She has a beautiful and unique voice and I can't wait until she puts out more music.

To all of you who are dissing Lisa Lavie, you wouldn't know talent if it slapped you in the face, which someone should to knock some sense into you. I agree I think some of these individuals are jealous of her - she's amazing and i think she's even better than Mariah Carey. So grow the F**K up
