Great Pope, great man, great loss.

I had to see this again to make me feel better about the world...After seeing a video recently I started to loose hope, but people like him inspire me

This man should honestly be nominated for Sainthood.

He has. They put a rush on him because usually you have dead for 5 years before you can even be considered. But they put a rush on it and he is Beatified right now. They have to do this really long process to determine if he is really worthy and they have to prove that he performed at least two miracles in his lifetime. In my opinion they need to speed it up a little more. :)

I still remember when he came to Chicago. My employer even let us off for the day to go and see him. I saw him at Five Holy Maryters on the southwest side of the city. So long ago now, and all those people in my department at the time are all gone now too.
