Mcdonald's commercial The New Job

Quite possibly the most depressing McDonald's commercial ever. It's like Dad left Mom for the girl down the street and left her no-skills having ass to go and work serving fast food.

I worked @ McDonald's from age 16-18 grades 10-12 and it was great for me. The owner of our stores was REALLY good. One of the best employers I've EVER had. He taught us how to be responsible, respectful and efficient and he wasn't so stand offish that you couldn't talk to him. MOST of the managers were also pretty decent people. Although there were a few that were Bs. I realized then though that I was lucky as my sister worked for a different owner and didn't have a good experience like I did.

I think this commercial was from several years ago. They also advertised elderly people working happily at McD's. They were initiating a "cradle-to-grave" minimum wage program. It didn't work out.

I worked for this company for one year and I gotta say it was the worst year of my life. A ludicrous turnover rate left me and about three of my friends consistently working alongside people with criminal backgrounds. No benefits, the hours thing was a complete and total lie. I got stuck closing every Saturday from about six months there until I graduated high school and in the remaining weeks until I found a better job, I had to deal with the changeover to the current method of sandwich making.

On top of that, my raise totally sucked while a girl who literally stood around and talked to the managers all night, every night and always found excuses to get out of closing or even work in general got a sizeable raise.

When I was 15, back in the summer of 85 I worked at a McDonald's for about three weeks. Got fired along with three other people for starting a food fight

I totally agree! I worked at a McDonald's a few years ago & it was horrible! They had hired a bunch of illegal aliens who only spoke Spanish & they liked to talk shit about us whites who were working there. I know a little Spanish so I knew when they were making racial slurs. The boss was a douchebag & always yelled at the workers for every little thing. I got stuck working the hours that nobody else wanted & had to work EVERY weekend. The job paid shit wages! I found a better job & quit.
