Description :	The ending to the brilliant MS-DOS game Ultima Underworld The Stygian Abyss. You throw the 8 talismans of sir cabirus into the lava by the guardian and you both get sucked into a moongate into a different world. You must then follow the green path to get back to Brittania. I added some Zelda music because there was no music installed. I can't use the floppy discs on XP (I coppied it from a Windows 98 in the attic now). Edit - I got dosbox working on Vista, so expect to see this in better quality soon! (or you could just whatch the last part of TheCyberCat's speedrun)

Dude. The only way you could say the music in the game sucks is if you had a shitty PC speaker playing it. Best game ever.

Ok, maybe I was a bit harsh... My dad convinced me that walking around a dungeon wouldn't have a soundtrack, just SFX. Maybe if they added a scream every two minutes it would be even better...

Perhaps you are right.. but the music added to the atmosphere... the music like changed to fit what was going on and made you feel like you were there. And also.. remember it IS a game... and this was the early days of Adlib and Sound Blaster so there wasn't many samples or midi out there to barrow.

Superb game. Played it back in those days and played it again just a few mths back! Haha! And definitely will play it again in the future. One of the best RPG games : )

For today? Maybe. But for 1992, when this was created? Top notch! This was one if not the first "real" 3D Rpg's, technology well beyond other games at that time. You may not like it but you have to admit that it was a technical achievment for its time.

Nope. Well, yes, but it's a lot different. In LoW the etheral void Has the pyramids and the shrine, but in is one, there are only 3 paths. Because the Guardian killed you when were invunerable in the void, you die when you go into the red or blue portals.
