Holy crap! I actually remember this commercial from the '88 Olympics ----- freshman year in college, Spring Break in San Diego - big party in the condo - me in front of the TV crying over this commercial - "it's soooo sad!" No, I'm not that socially inept or into sports - I was just REALLY drunk that night 20 long years ago! But this ad still beings tears to my eyes. (shed for my lost youth). Thanks for the memories!

I'm lucky that I can run around the block from eating McDonalds food, forget the olympics!

I can't believe this commercial is on the web. My 15 minutes of fame. I had sooo much fun doing this commercial. It even got me extra leave from the Marine Corps. WOW LOL

He's the guy who starred in this commercial.

Hard to believe they actually took themselves so melodramatically serious. They mass produce burgers, not cure cancer and AIDS.

"Proud partners in the Olympic dream"? What is that? It's a commercial pretty much trying to make people clog all of their arteries and become morbidly obese while saying "work hard and try out for the Olympics". Nobody's getting close to even trying for that while eating that junk all the time. Especially now, when we know how bad that stuff is. It's bad when their fries don't seem to mold or age at all after a few months!!! Something's not right there. Nobody needs to even touch that food!
