thundersrose. IT WAS LOOKING AT YOU!. the t-rex at the NHM has state of the art tracking devices in its eyes. a bit like TRACKIR technology. so sleep well tonight knowing the rex wanted u for lunch muahahahahaha.

Hehe I saw this exhibit just yesterday, at one point i jumped cause he suddenly moved his head, looked like he was looking at me.

The hole in the middle of the skull, which was originally beleived to be an eye socket, has proved to be nothing more than where an elephant like creature's trunk used to be. Easy to be fooled though!

Awesome, but where are the eye sockets then? Or is it just a part of the whole skull?

Because elephants eyes are on the side of the head and not the front, there aren't any eye sockets, just indentations at the side. Hope this helps. By the way T-Rex is awesome!
