I think it was lagging in places, take a look at the statistics at the end, you may notice that it maxed 55fps and a mined 7.4fps, ave 28fps. I would expect this demo max at about 54.6fps due to low resolution of 640x480, however, sudden drops are evident due to the low min fps, this may due to the high resolution of the shadow maps, 2048x2048, having said this, that value may represent the sum of the faces of the cube map if that was the technique used.
