One of my favorite movies of all time, and my favorite animated movies

I admit, the first time I saw this movie, I WAS miffed that a movie with "Final Fantasy" in the title had no connection to Final Fantasy beyond a little picture of a chocobo as a cameo. But having seen it later, and knowing that it is its own entity, this is a pretty cool movie. Definitely one of my favorites!

This is the real GOOD ff movie, AC is just another escuse to keep earning money with final fantasy 7 characters, a movie for fangirls..... Spirit within was great and is still one of my favourite animated movies, the fact that its not based in any ff game is what make this movie another "episode" in ff saga, there are no sequels on ff, so this movie was telling us another story in another world as most of the ff games, well until they got insane with ff7 and start doing crap to make fans happy

yep, the only reason it has FF in front of it is because its directed by the guy who made the FF games and son thought "hey i've got a great idea that will let us milk this film for as much money as possible"

well the idea didnt work they lost like $100m

plus they took a lot of aspects and ideas from all the FF games at the time
