This may be off topiic but I think the interviewer,Riz Khan, is a great interviewer. He obviously had done a great deal of research and it shows in the interview. He also developed a wonderful raport with Mrs. Robinson. Alot his contemporaries could learn from him.

Well done Aljazeera! This is an excellent interview. Mary Robinson at her most relaxed and gives a very full and interesting account of her exceptional career as President of Ireland and UN High Commissioner for Human Rights.

Ireland is the only country to elect two national leaders in a row who happen to be women. Mary McAleese is the current Irish President. The reason attributed to Irish voters doing this is that their voting system, called instant runoff voting (IRV) in the United States of America, enables them to pick the best candidate more consistently.
