Give it up for Berkeley CA and the Claremont hotel...Yeah!!!... I grew up racing my 74 Mazda RX4 with my friends 65 Stang Fastback in those twisty Berkeley hills. However, It would be nice if Ford would put that outdated "Tail happy" live axel to rest, so they wouldn't get so squirrley with the slightest bit of throttle.

The suspension is fine tuned and live axle is better to keep the suspension together when handling the massive torque in drag racing, i do not see it as a bad option.
the car is excellent.

That clip was shot in April 2006, '09 wasn't even on the horizon yet...
I was fortunate to have attended that event, and got to spend an hour behind the wheel of that Tungsten convertible you see thru-out the clip...great fun, especially doing 120mph down I-680...too bad the six cars that were there were sent to the crusher (prototypes), I offered them cheap money so they didn't need to transport them back to Dearborn :-)

69 model is my fave, but i read about this 08 version. its badass, comes stock with 524 horsepower. plus a $10k upgrade wich can add up to a total of 725 horsepower, its badass

Why are you so excited about BHP numbers and for that manner why does Ford continually pump insane amounts Horsepower into old suspension technology???
