The Bucking Horse Lie

you know.. maybe this was 'one'.. out of the millions of bucking horse there are only 50 shown here. go look up some stuff. this are lower class rodeos. the horses here were not bred to buck. horses in the bigger rodeos were BRED to buck. i have had horses buck on my all the time. i don't have a flank strap! what about jumping? where some horses are forced over fences while others enjoy it.. its the same as bucking horses. there is abusi in jumping just liek there is in bucking horses

And those horses are obviously NOT broncs...swayback horses are not allowed to be ridden in the rodeos...anyone with half a brain would know that. The horses in the rodeo are BRED for bucking. We had one and it bucked without the strap. The strap is there to make the horse more irritated so it WILL buck. The horse will do it regardless of the strap. The strap is there for control so the gatherers can collect the horse without injury.

the flank strap is just like a fly to them it bothers them and they want it off but it's not cruelty, and horses r born to buck, they love to buck ,they buck when they play don't they, and rodeos horses r said to be mean is because they r more hyped up than a regualr horse, they get angryer more easily but still very sweet, and hardley any accident happen in a rodea so this is dumb

You say that you can't prove anything from a video but the wounds are clear on that bay horse at 3:20 and the ones knocking themselves out by bucking into the railings thats pretty clear to. The horses can't be enjoying that at all.

standingdoorperson, why dont you get some solid PROOF of the harm,injuries, and emotional torment that you claim is inflicted on these animals. a video cannot always prove that the horse is in "extreme pain". ive even visited that shark website and they use persuasive methods, not many actual facts. i have approached it with an open mind but i have confirmed that it is NOT abuse. i am the last person you would find abusing an animal.

i never said they were staged. sometimes they get hurt. but have you considered all the times they have NOT been hurt? have you considered all the rodeo performances where no animals have been injured? you only show the bad videos, not the good ones.

questions117:There's your proof, by your admission. Have you ever considered the ones who have been hurt? These critters are getting injured and killed for your idea of "fun". How many more before it stops?

boolrider is right. my own FATHER is a chiropractor. we travel to rodeos and he works on the cowboys and animals. the buck strap is not frikkin torment.

questions117:The strap is not a torment is you're not wearing it. How would like a strap tightened around a sensitive part of your body, or do you have one?
