The Proposition - Trailer

I just learned how to play the piano part. I might post the video as a little tribute but I won't show me playing it because the keys are a "secret" and if I give it away it wouldn't be much of a tribute.

I know there's a raping scene in this film. three questions: Is the raping long and cruel? Is the movie very, very violent? Is it good? For what I've seen, it looks wonderful. But please, answer these questions!!

They don't show the raping part. They make you know it's happening but nothing terribly bad, the movie isn't THAT violent but it has it's parts where it makes you think: "WOW" and it's a great movie. I think it's worth watching.

If you can understand and relate to how the characters would feel in all the scenes (especially the final scene) then yes, I reckon you would find it really compelling. The great thing is that Nick Cave the director has the history of this time exact.

The acting, directing, cinematography of this film is beyond amazing and i cannot believe there isn't a single nomination of any oscar award at all.

the Australian Trailer is far better... American Trailers are all the same, they edit them as if they don't know how to not show every little bit of the film. AMERICAN TRAILERS SPOIL FILM!

Its funny how they like to think its THEIR work. Check out Rec, then Quarrenteen and you'll see.

I'm buying the movie just because of Danny Huston. I'm going to try to buy all the movies he's been in. He's not given enough credit for his work. I have 30 Days Of Night, Children Of Men and saw Marie Antoinette, Number 23 and Constant Gardener. He is so handsome and a brilliant actor. So sorry to hear that his former wife, Katie Evens has committed suicide. Danny had his first child with her but they divorced because she couldn't handle him being away and she suffered from depression.
