Description :	This is aideo rant on lack of laptop battery life, the airlines lack of power in seats (for those of us who have to fly coach anyway), and the fact the airlines won't do squat about it. This video cast is well-travelled. It was recorded on my Nokia E70 on United Flight 263 from Washington Dulles to Seattle. It was then bluetoothed over to my Nokia E62 (my E70's battery may not survive the trip either). Once I landed, it was sent via Cha-Chingular's "high-speed" EDGE network to blip.tv's servers. But the email was too big and it bounced. So I uploaded it the old fashioned way...

American doesn't fly anywhere I usually fly, or they codeshare with Alaska, which doesn't have any powered seats. But those flights are usually short enough that I can battery it.

you say you're willing to plug your laptop in on an airplane -- so fly american airlines. there's power at each seat in first class, as well as most rows in economy. just look for the lightning bolt symbol next to the seat number.

american is the worst airline plus united has plugs in first class!!! GO UAL

I think you're on the right track mate. Lack of power in 'economy' class is a right pain. Last time I took a long flight I had pocket laods of batteries. I agree - I'd pay extra to have a powerpoint with my seat too.
