Only someone who goes by the name "thetregladiator" could possibly make your comments...pathetique

And yes a person "chooses" how to deal with situations life puts in front of you. There's a saying, life gave me lemons, so I make lemonade. There are worse things that could happen, like I could end up a murderer, a rapist, etc. I say parents need to count their blessings....

This is where you are still wrong. If I commit adultery "against" my wife, my wife should feel hurt because it is a clear rejection of her. I can't for the life of me imagine why my mother or father should feel hurt. It is not done against someone. The man committing adultery promised his wife to be faithful when he took vows. If my parents expected me to be straight, they should understand that I was not given that choice.

You express some correct points, but it's still fact that homosexuality does hurt some innocent people. Some homosexuals have abandoned their heterosexual marriage for a gay partner, this just one scenario of adultery. I forever stand FIRM in belief that all children have a RIGHT to live with both their MARRIED mother AND father, & in peace. THEIR rights have gone to HELL. Would you want someone to tell you what should or shouldn't hurt you? We won't agree, but I still hope the best for you.

The children are not, not so much because of the homosexuality of one parent, but rather because of the divorce. People divorce for many reasons, don't blame it on the homosexuals. Divorce happens because two people can't live together anymore, and their religious convictions are not enough to justify "until death do us part".

ONE of those many reasons for divorce is homosexual relationship interference in some marriages. Many people abandon their marriage commitment from allowing "feelings" to rule their decisions. We have become a feeling based, wimpy, spineless, spoiled culture who most of our ancestors would be ASHAMED of. Divorce results ALWAYS from SELFISHNESS. If religious convictions aren't "enough" to sustain a marriage it's often because those convictions are lukewarm (if present at all) in the marriage.

Agreed. Blame it on the selfishness of people, but homosexuality alone is not the blame. The problem with associating religious convictions and marriage is that you are under the mistaken impression that marriage is the exclusive creation and domain of the bible. Marriage has a long and varied history, and I'm sure that if we tried employing some of the old testament characters' practices, we'd have more divorces (think polygamy, statutory rape, impregnating your servants, etc.)
