using computer power to make a car go faster is just cheating ------------- according to that logic, society shouldn't even evolve and everyone should be riding on horses

we're talking about cars here that are purely for the enjoyment of driving...cars that have no practical porpous or reason other then being fun... by your logic, you'r mom's Civic ought to be a technological tour de' force then?

no actually, if she did have one, it wouldn't be since they're just plain econoboxes but maybe if you said I had a spaceship or something...

here's my example to you...Nissan GTR Skyline...packed to blowing point with electronic gizmo's and computer trickery, yet its not as fast as an Ariel Atom, which is just a tube space frame chassis with a big engine in the back...

and it's only half a ton

dear lord pls help me win a lotto to purchase this fucking hell car..i will do evrything you want me to do..ill go to mass everyday.i will pray evry hour praise you..love and fear to you..lord this is my last money and last bet to a megalotto lord let me win hehehehe thnak you lord

all cars have issues... to say japanese cars are garbage tho is an opinion and not a fact, they outlast just about every other manufacturer on the road. esp the europeans with their horrible electrical problems, use of brittle plastics, and poor interior components ( lights, door latches, etc ), they dont have the full package either... call it soul if you want, but i am a porsche/bmw owner and i know first hand how frustrating that "soul" is when it fails to operate.

'computers make false drivers' is a pretty radical statement... considering how far formula 1 has come with the advancements in technology and computer aided aerodynamics testing which has drastically improved car performance over the years, and im pretty sure your not going to effeciently control the fuel injection system on an engine with roughly an 18,000 rpm redline without a computer. But just my opinion, i think they provide alot of precision that is useful in acheiving performance.

i cant hear anything..... ?

What the fuck?!?
