Teddy Roosevelt was a true American patriot. Thanks for posting his views on immigration. I agree with his approach for legitimate immigrants who want to become true Americans. Teddy was a true conservative who opposed "free trade". He advocated "labor neutral trade" (involving some necessary tariffs) to protect American jobs and businesses. For example if American widgets required $4 labor/unit and Chinese widgets had $3 labor/ unit the tariff would be $1/unit.
