If it´s not straight porn, every lovemaking scene (or a rape scene, for that matter) is pure exploitation, even if it´s done as creatively as in Don´t Look Now. Those should always be only hinted at and one gets the idea. Don´t Look Now is still a masterpiece, the one you´re really baffled with until, as Danny Peary wrote, "the one of the most shocking endings of the motion picture history".

Why is the love scene in Don't Look Now considered one of the best scenes in film history? I don't get it... it just slowed down the story for me.
