Far Cry 2 Weapon Destructability Demo

Extended mags hang below the grip a bit. In the game, they fit flush with the magazine well, therefore are standard capacity. In HL2, the MP7 has all kinds of things wrong with it. It holds 45 rounds instead of 40 but the mags fit flush with the grip/mag well indicating that they should be 20-rounders. It's pathetically inaccurate. And it launches grenades from an invisible grenade launcher sideways and they're already armed the moment they launch instead of arming in-flight.

The problem is iggy, there are extended clips for them. An extended .50AE clip has 9 rounds in it. Then, reload before done with the clip, and ya got ten rounds to use. It's all relative, considering the large number of differences possible. I'm a realism whore myself, so I know what ya mean.

Let's take the Wildey for example. I don't recall ever seeing it in a game. Movies, yes. It was made popular by 'Death Wish 3' in which Charles Bronson (as Paul Kersey) used the .475 Wildey Magnum version to "make a real mess" out of street thugs. XD I'd like to see a Wildey instead of a Desert Eagle. Another thing about the DE in games is they always seem to screw up the calibers/capacities. They should go like this: .357/9-round mags, .44/8-round mags, .50AE/7-round mags. dn't know about .440

i see, if they made their own weapons..that would be nice, i get what your saying..and just mixing up weapons too besides the regular everyday seen weapons.

No, nothing like that. I'm just tired -- VERY tired -- of seeing it in every other action-oriented game and movie ever made. Same with the Franchi SPAS-12 and, to a lesser extent, the HK G36. I yearn for originality and/or authenticity. Instead of the Desert Eagle, I'd like to see a big bore revolver or something of that nature. I'm also tired of mirror-image weapon models.
