Description :	Ultima Underworld: The Stygian Abyss (1992 - DOS) A little video to show UW's gameplay in relation to level exploration and puzzles. For UW-veterans: the video also shows two hidden areas, one being Sir Cabirus' Tomb. I used a 'just before the end' save game, so the charcter is very advanced and already equipped with all the runes. Puzzle: the two levers set the x,y coordinates, while the buttons raise and lower the plattforms. PS: DosBox 0.70 rulez!

Very nice! I just finished a speedrun for this. I always enjoy seeing other people play this, it's a great game isn't it? Very atmospheric for its day, still one of my favorites. :)

Lol i HEX cracked the savegame so i had infinite spells and could choose what spell to use.. most powerful mage in all UW , worked on UW2 aswell

I remember read some article says using inventory slot(circles below character) more than 6, out of 8 will cause item list corruption bug like sudden change/loss of item. But whatever I do the bug always happened. sometimes freezes, sometimes items all gone and appeared on air...Well I did bought that game and I admit that Great and innovative gameplay for those days, however bug, twas horrible.

although I sometimes got the error message while travelling to another lavel (like in the clip) - my inventory always kept all the items and had no problem. As far as I've read, that bug would happen if you go too far by inserting containers (boxes, puoches, sacks) into containers into containers. Personally I never went further than one level (only had a few pouches in one sack)... btw. the gameplay wasn't just innovative: it is till today almost unique :D

This is the best game for PC. I used levitation to get up to the tombs, but I found the secret door to Sir Cabirus' tomb on my own. Can you post some more long videos of the best parts of the game? I love watching others play it.

i think there could of been something a bit more exciting in that hidden room at the end.

BTW again,is anyone knows also a Mana Bug before entering lv.7 w/no magic cast..,i cast magic arrow at lv.6 but don't fire it yet then entered lv.7 when mana gauge is gone then fire the magic arrow the result a bug i got about 7xx of 0 mana points i can freely cast a high lv. spells like iron flesh,water walk and fly...but after a minute~2 minute the bug is gone back to 0 of 0 mana points.. even worse i don't want to destroy the orb using the orb rock.if i still want to abuse that bug.

that's one great thing about UW: you can solve many situations differently. Once you found it, you could even throw the moostone, like I did with the ring, and teleport yourself up there ;)
