Oh, come on. In my opinion, the american opening is way better than the german one, but that's not about the names. It's quite understandable that they changed the name "Dale" to "Chap", since the original one sounds a bit strange to Germans at first, even though I prefer it. Also, judging over a whole nation just by looking at a cartoon's name and one person's opinion isn't really mature, is it?

Obviously Chap sounds funny to me because I'm so used to the American version and the word "chap" has its own meaning in English. People get so touchy over nothing.
