all i thought of when i saw this was rr and coyote shorts.

I remember that when I'd see this on the Looney Tunes show on CN back in winter-spring 2002, this logo was usually seen on Road Runner/Wile E. Coyote cartoons, until they began putting the Speedy Gonzales cartoons back into rotation.

That particular opening you're talking about also ended with the "WB" logo red, the CARTOON OO's made horn sounds, and there was no song, just church bells.

Actually the church bells were the sound of Big Ben striking the hour, to be precixe

I like that version!

For some reason, when I was a kid, I always used to doodle this "WB" logo and the "Seven Arts" logo in my school homework assignment book all the time. That just proves how much an intro like this was used to open their cartoons, which I watched on Nickelodeon. There was just something about these two logos that just had me drawing them all the time. Weird, right?

Never liked the 60's version... it scared me...lol

This is the eeriest arrangement of "The Merry-Go-Round Broke Down" they could have come up with.

A good example of how cartoons devolve over time.

Not a half-bad logo. Too bad it was used on some of the worst cartoons ever.
