I call all of his movies shit.

Not quite sure if I would use the word brilliant to describe Tyler Perry. Appreciate the brothas effort, but many of his movies and especially his show, fall well short of what is supposed to be good. I support, but continue to be dissapointed.

should've been more Madea the Brown one was kinda boring cause I have the Play tyler perry is make all the Plays into Movies and some other ones that weren't plays But when thier from the "Plays" It always seem to be the same jokes from the Plays well thats what I know cause I watch it everyday.

I love Tyler but this film sucked and I was pissed when I left the theather! Shouldve been more Brown. The play was ten times better! Its either gonna be a comedy or drama. The funeral scene was terrible which was the funniest on the play! Good thing Brown is having his own tv show.

I love Tyler and his talent, but this movie just did not do it for me. I think it is because there was not much left for the imagination. Most lines were in other plays or movies. Had I not seen all his work this would have been great. What a great talent and I hope he can recieve more encouragment because this man has touched every generation of big time stars. Proud of you TP.

one question: how come Spike Lee is not complaining about this movie with its 'all black' cast and fans?

is that a bad thing? Cause i've seen WAY 2 many movies with no real ethnic representation.
