Welcome to the County Calendar web site tutorial.
County Calendar is the free to use, community events site that covers the whole of Britain. We hope that you will find the tutorial useful and that you will visit the site to find out more.
Functionality that is available on every page
To the top right of each page there are four important site links, including the home page, the contact us form, our site map and the registration form.
At the bottom of each page are links to other site pages and a link to W3C, as the site is fully xhtml compliant.
At the top of each page there is a very useful Google powered search tool. You can use this to search for pages within the County Calendar site that are listed on Google.
To the left of that is the logo, that links back to the home page. Below this are links to the forms for adding events, event-related businesses and venues. As well as the registration form.
Just below this on the left of the page you will see a map of Britain. The map is divided by region and can be used to start your search.
Searching for events:
When you click on the map, you are taken down to a regional level.
Use the category filter to display events in that region by type.
Alternatively, you can click on one of the links on the right of this page that will take you down to the county level, within your chosen region.
You can then use the category filter to filter by type within that County.
